PersonalLCT is a field activity. It involves scholars and research students from Australia, France, South Africa, the UK and elsewhere. Each time LCT is pressed into service to help explain a problem, the research speaks back to the theory, forcing clarifications, developments and revisions. So, everyone who uses LCT is a contributing author of LCT. The founding author of LCT is Karl Maton. He completed his undergraduate, Masters and PhD degrees at the University of Cambridge and has worked for the University of Cambridge, the Open University, Keele University, the University of Wollongong, and the University of Sydney.
